Light your grill, charcoal, wood chips whatever you have. I have even used my indoor grill😄! Season chicken generously and place in a saucepan with 1 lemon (halved), 1 onion (halved), 3 cloves garlic, 1 handful of fresh basil and 4 sprigs of fresh thyme. Cover chicken with water and place on medium heat for 20mins. While chicken is simmering, start the homemade BBQ sauce. My preference is sweet and spicy. For this you will need 1 tblsp mustard, 1 cup Korean BBQ sauce, 1 cup hickory smoked BBQ sauce, 1 Cinnamon stick, 4 cloves, 2 bay leaves, 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup water. Stir and allow this sauce to simmer on low heat 20 mins. The longer it simmers the better it gets. Remove chicken from sauce pan and place on grill. Once the chicken is charred to your liking, dip them individually in the homemade sauce. At this point you can either put them back on the grill from 2-3 mins to caramelize the BBQ sauce or serve! Whichever way you decide I guarantee you will have moist, fully cooked, delicious chicken! Hope you enjoy!
